The Gift of “You”

There are many needs in the world, and some of them you’re meant to fill. You can make a difference; one committed person can make a difference. And you are that committed person.
Your talents and abilities are tools you can use to serve others. If you have the heart to serve, then there’s a place for you to do so.

If you live your life solely focusing on accumulating trinkets for yourself, you’ll miss out on the great blessing of serving others with your gifts. Life is about serving one another. It’s about using our abilities to add value to other people’s lives.

The question is never, “Is there a place for you?” but rather, “Do you care enough to serve?” There’s always a place for people with a servant’s heart. Will you take your place and serve like you have never served before?

Of course, you’ve been serving already. However, have you been serving to extent that you know you can?

At Christmas, many people offer gifts to their loved ones—and that’s a wonderful demonstration of love.

You carry gifts inside of you and it doesn’t cost you that much to share your gifts with others that need them. As I said, all you need is a desire to add value to others’ lives. Serving is offering the gift of “you” to people who need what you have to offer. It’s an act of generosity.

Merry Christmas!
