Why Problems Are Precious

Problems are powerful. They can paralyze you or propel you forward. It all depends on your perspective. If you see problems has something to be avoided at all cost, you’ll get frustrated or waste time feeling sorry for yourself when you face any. And this attitude is a sure way to stay stuck and delay your journey toward your goal.

However, if you see problems as opportunities to tap into your creativity and demonstrate your resourcefulness, you’ll use them as launching pads to greater heights. Furthermore, you’ll not only solve the problems that inevitably come your way but also you’ll proactively seek the problems you’re able to address.

What I mean by that is this: when you see problems from an empowering perspective, you’re no longer get disheartened by them; you view yourself as a problem-solver (i.e., someone who solves problems, not avoids them).

Great goals bring their share of problems. In fact, despite your best effort to plan your course, you often have to deal with problems. And your ability to overcome these problems makes the difference between your success or failure to reach your goal.

If you’re going to contribute massively, you have to get proficient at dealing with problems. In fact, usually, the higher your level of responsibility and the greater your influence, the bigger the problems you must handle. Moreover, if you want to increase your contribution, solve bigger problems and problems that affect masses of people.

Problems aren’t to be avoided; they’re to be overcome. And you can be the one who figures these out and provides the solution to other people. And when you become the problem-solver, you become an invaluable asset.

Think about it this way. Problems are your opportunity draw from your potential and extraordinary value in the lives of other people. People all around you feel overwhelmed by problems that you’re equipped to solve. And if you care enough to serve, you can alleviate their burden and brighten their journey by offering them the solution.
