Why You Must Never Stop Serving

You’re where you are today because people help you along the way: teachers, coaches, parents, coworkers, supervisors, etc. Some people have contributed to the making of who you are today. Sure, some people have hindered you along the way, but you made it this far because people have lent you a helping hand.

No one makes it alone. We need one another to reach our goals. Great goals demand great support. When you look back on your achievement, you can see that someone was there for you at critical moments of your journey. And now, you can be that person for someone else.

You have a contribution to make, and it’s meant to help others along their journey. You have all you need to add extraordinary value to the lives of others. You simply must decide to do so and become intentional about using your gifts to make a positive difference wherever you are.

Life is more about what you can give than about what you can get. Instead of asking, “what’s in it for me?” you can ask, “how can I add value to you?” How can you give more and serve more? No matter how little you think you have, you do have something to offer.

You can offer your time to people who feel lonely. You can offer your money to the less fortunate. You can offer your heart to someone who needs to share their struggles. You can offer your skills. You can offer some of your belongings. You can offer a room in your home. You can offer a meal. You can offer a word of encouragement.

The ways to serve others are endless. The servant heart always finds a way to serve.

You benefited from other people’s acts of service. Now, others need your acts of service to make it. Never stop serving.
